Selwood pupils have been working with Rook Lane Arts Trust and the Magic Penny Theatre Company on a heritage project.  The project marks the bicentenary of the birth of John Webb Singer in 1819, founder of JW Singer & Sons Art Metal Works, which at its height employed as many as 700 people in the town and cast statues and sculptures which can be found across the country and around the world.

The performance on Saturday, as part of the Frome Festival, was a joy to watch!

This performance was made possible by funding from Frome Lions and Selwood Academy PTA.
