Mrs Linda Puttock

I moved to Frome 38 years ago.  All three of my children attended Frome College and two of those children also attended Selwood. 

I was trained as a Legal Secretary and when I came to Frome I worked for some years at Daniel Cruttwell.  While in this job I learnt a great deal about Frome and its people.   By a series of circumstances I then came in contact with an Educational Psychologist who wished to start a private practice in the area.  I became her PA and helped her set up the practice.  I found this job very rewarding and I enjoyed having contact with teachers, parents and children and I very soon became fascinated by how even very minor difficulties could affect the learning process.   

I am an active member of the Church of England and feel that I am very much in tune with the vision and core values of the school, having a passionate belief that every child of whatever ability should be in an environment where they can be proud of their achievements. 

Since retiring I have become a member of the Frome Society for Local Study, and enjoy visiting and learning about places of interest in the area.  I also enjoy walking and pottering in the garden.
