Appeals

Applicants whose school place application is turned down have the legal right to appeal against the decision to refuse admission. Oversubscriptions

If the school is oversubscribed the criteria detailed in the Academy’s Admission Policy will be used to decide which children have priority for places.

In-year Admissions

Selwood Academy are responsible for any in-year admission applications.  If you wish to apply for a place at Selwood Academy:

  • Read the Changing Schools in Somerset leaflet and download and complete the in-year application form, both can be found in the links above.

  • Contact Reception at Selwood Academy for information on current spaces available within the School on 01373 462798 or enquiries@selwood.mnsp.org.uk

  • Arrange tour of School.

The MNSP Trust Board authorises the Headteacher to act on its behalf with regard to in-year school admissions.
